X-Treme Girlies was started on Dececmber 6, 2001 by Lisa. She has spent weeks getting things started. The first thing that she did was contact all the female car enthusiasts that she knew who might be interested in joining an all-girl car club. From that point, things blew up from there. The girls all got together and started to make things happen. We have monthly meetings for all the girls to have a chance to talk over club issues, both covering past and future events, and we also meet up outside the meetings to hang out. Many of us can be found hanging out at local street races, car shows, and clubs.



We all know how hard it is for girls to get along, so X-Treme Girlies is a place for girls that have a common interest of cars to find other girls to hang out and make new and close friendships with. X-Treme Girlies is a sisterhood as well as a car club. We help each other out with whatever it is that may be needed. Whether it is car parts or just advice on boys, we are all there for each other. The girls in our club are located throughout the NY/NJ area.



However, X-Treme Girlies does not accept all applicants to join the team. All applications are reviewed by the girls, then the applicants are contacted directly. Once the applicants are contacted, they are invited to meet up with the active members of X-Treme and see how everyone gets along and what everyone thinks. Applicants are then notified from there if they have been accepted to the team. Some requirements for the team are that the girls be active and participate in as many meetings/events as possible, they have the team sticker on their car, and that they have work done to their car, or plan on doing work to their car in the very near future.
